Vancouver Giants vs. Kelowna Rockets

After a five day break the Giants return to the Pacific Coliseum to face the Kelowna Rockets.  The two teams last met on September 17th, where the Giants came away with a 6-5 OT win.  The Giants are coming off a 5-4 OT win against Kamloops last Saturday night whereas Kelowna is coming off a 6-5 win over Medicine Hat this past Wednesday.

The Giants are currently without James Wright (Tampa Bay), Evander Kane (Atlanta), Garry Nunn (leg, 6-8 weeks), Todd Kennedy (knee, 4-6 weeks), and Dillon Scholten (wrist, 4-6 weeks).

The Giants return to the Pacific Coliseum for Game 2 of the home and home with the Kamloops Blazers. Coming off a 2-1 SOL in Kamloops, the Giants will be looking to come out strong from the first puck drop.

Vancouver Giants vs Lethbridge Hurricanes

The Lethbridge Hurricanes come into town from the Prairies for the fifth of eight games of their season opening roadtrip. The Giants will be wearing pink tape and laces in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run For The Cure. It will be the second straight season the team has supported the cause.

The Giants are still without James Wright (Tampa Bay), Evander Kane (Atlanta), Garry Nunn (leg), Todd Kennedy (knee) and Dillon Scholten (wrist).

After back-to-back games against U.S. Division competition the Vancouver Giants get back to B.C. division rivals Friday as they host the Prince George Cougars at the Pacific Coliseum.
