Chilliwack comes to town on something of a roll...they are one of the hotter teams in the WHL right now. Working in the Giants favor is that this game will be the back end of a three in three. Chilliwack waxed Kamloops on Friday and beat a very good Calgary team yesterday afternoon. The Giants will have be a bit more rested than Chilliwack. It could be a tough game I think. I am curious to see if Chilliwack has any gas left in the tank, and if the Giants are still po'd about losing to Calgary....

the valley is becoming saturated with hockey options... It'll take a few years for the Heat to develop a solid fan-base, so around 1/2 houses its not horrible -- i think the Abootsford arena seats 7K or similar.

Also I am curious about ticket prices, are they around WHL level or more like $30 a seat? That could also contribute to average attendance as well....

7 ish minutes and -2 ... ooo .. not the best outing by Mario, but coach V seemed to like his defensive play tonight by all accounts....

sorry folks but we in no way completely dominated them last night. We were solid in our own end of the ice and our forecheck was good, but we couldn't keep the puck settled on our stick or complete a good sharp pass most of the night. We badly squandered our PP chances. The pinch on the PP, looked to be a good one, but the puck jumped and got past the defender who was pinching.

Just 'cause we got the most shots on net in no way means that we controlled the play. I think this is a game we could have w...

Quad City averaged 3035 last season (and they never had a very good team).

Abbotsford is only averaging 331 more than that....

They weren't any better in quad city though.
They were lucky to have 1500 a night there....

That was a pretty enjoyable game to watch...maybe the most entertaining game we have seen at home this season? Both teams were working hard, both showed some skill and toughness...all in all a great game between two pretty evenly matched teams.

I thought Vancouver deserved a better fate. They had the run of the play for the majority of the game, and did a great job of nullifying the Hitmen's top guns. As usual, there were some defensive breakdowns, but only one of a catastrophic nature...the terrible gi...
