Yesterday we announced our 2007-08 Predict The Score contest rules and prizes and today we're happy to announce more prizes for the GiantsBeat.com Giants Pool. Winning is easy, as long as you know how to pick your players and remember to get your picks in on time!

Last year you got to pick new players each game, but we've changed it up a little bit this year. Each week you'll pick one forward, one defenseman and one tough guy. You can't pick the same player in back-to-back weeks and you can't use player as a forward/defenseman and your tough guy.

Points System

Forwards: Goal 2 Points, Assist 1 Point
Defense: Goal 5 Points, Assist 2 Points
Tough Guy: 1 Point for every Penalty Minute

The scoring system might seem a little more complicated, but it's designed to ensure that the Tough Guy isn't going to be more valuable than any other position. Last season if a player got 15 PIMs in a game, it was nearly impossible to make up those points. We've fixed that - we hope.

Weekly Winner: Autographed 8 * 10 of your favorite Giant

Season Winner: A Custom Painted McFarlane Figure of any Vancouver Giant (similar to the Cody Franson figure in the photo)
